    Mine is taped shut. Whenever I go to Panera Bread for lunch, some spyware from their router, makes my camera go nuts.

      If you accidentally click on google voice search, it doesn't stop recording until you close the app manually. Id imagine it's similar with web cams

    I don't tape it, but it's very normal. Plenty of people do it. I probably should but I couldn't care less
