How much ammunition do you have for your favorite gun?

The question is really pretty easy. If you can get a gun do you have one? If you have one, are you stocked up on ammo for hard times? Harsh controversial comments are welcome.

I could easily buy a gun, but I don't like them. 4

    Why are Americans the only ones that talk about guns? The Swiss and the Canadians have lots of guns (rifles at least). Why do they never say anything?

    Such casual gun ownership by 'average people' always seems so strange when viewed from more civilised countries.
    I've known various gun owners here in Britain but they're always farmers, shooting enthusiasts or very dodgy criminals.
    I can't imagine living somewhere where nearly everyone you meet probably has a shooter in their bedside drawer!
