For those of you that own a vehicle. How much gas you put in when filling. Assuming that when your filling, your car is basically on empty.

I usually leave it in there until the gas puddle touches my shoes, then i just drop my cigarette butt and drive off.
I have this trick, so i don't even have to take the gas gun out, it just pulls itself out when i start driving.
I top that shit off! I hate going to the gas station, so when I do go, I make sure to fill it up and top it off.
I don't go by full, or half full...I go by $$. I usually get an even $10 or $20. Never more than $20.
Usually $20-30 dollars for my truck. About $5-10 dollars for my motorcycle.
I dont really let it go past the 1/4 mark and usually pump anywhere from $5-%20...its a 4 cyclinder so it'll fill up easily with 30-40 bucks and will last for up to 2 weeks and a half
Can I just ask how much you pay for gas (petrol) where you live?
In the UK we pay $2.15 per LITRE so multiply that by 4.5 approx. to get it per gallon and that's $9.67
So I usually put in $78 at a time = £50
Dude im OCD anout this, it fill it till it full, then try to stop it at the nearest dollar, or 25 cent, or a number ending on 0,and if i go too far i givee it a lil more. xD
I usually go by gas prices. If I feel it's more expensive than normal and the price will drop soon (but I really need gas at the moment), I'll get half a tank or less. If I feel gas prices will rise, I will get a full tank. If they don't rise, oh well.
wait for it to be almost empty, and usually takes about $35 to fill it up
Ugh. About $20 a day. That's about a quarter tank. When I can, I'll do $40-$60. About $85 would fill it -_-
