I am a clean person, but I only wash my hair 2 or 3 times a week, sometimes only once weekly. When I was younger, I would shower twice a day and wash my hair every time. Only to find out that it's bad, and my hair was the proof.

Before I graduated highschool, I had long hair. It was down to the middle of back. I took care of it to the best of my ability. I started to get a receding hairline at 18/19 and decided to just shave it bald.
Soon I'll be starting chemo and I won't even have to do the shaving.

Depression made me not give a shit about my hair. I never washed it or ever even brushed it. After all who was I trying to impress?
Now though, I wash my hair when I have a shower a couple times a week and I brush it every day or every other day.
I have afro-textured hair so I wash once per week. I usually dedicate 2-3 hours to get my hair done after washing as I keep it natural. I often would opt for twist and go with that for a whole week.
The amount of time it takes to pick up my hat and place it on my head before going outside.
I wash my hair everyday because I have psoriasis and I use a this comb to scrape my scalp free of any dandruff. If I dont do it everyday you'll see flakes in my hair.
I pay 0 attention to it tbh, most of the times my parents want me to get a haircut and I cannot be asked to care about my hair. I personally prefer my hair to be bushy in all honesty.
Not much anymore. I wash it every other day, I don't style it beyond braiding it before bedtime for some texture.
I usually have to wash my bangs everyday though unless I have dry shampoo.
Typically, every other day. I could probably stretch it another day, but hate the feeling of even slightly greasy hair. I used to wash daily, but was drying my naturally wavy/curly hair out. I'll sometimes wash an extra day if I happened to sweat a lot that day, as it feels gross otherwise and I don't want it to smell, plus I hate the smell and feeling of dry shampoo and try to avoid using it if possible.
I try to do it every day as my hair gets greasy really quickly. It's gonna look pretty bad if I don't wash it for 2 days. I wish I could do it only 2-3 times a week.
I stopped using shampoo entirely for a while and after several months it became so matted I almost considered just cutting it all off. It took me almost two weeks to get my hair clean again.

I'm starting lose a lot of hair, is that just balding or because of this?.
That could be contributing to it, using shampoo too much can strip your hair and scalp of natural oils that keep it healthy and strong, and could damage your hair.
That could be a reason but it could also just be genetics, my hair started falling out when I was 26 and I only wash it once or maybe twice a week.
