How old were you when you signed up for iin?

For me I have been on is it normal for 3 or 4 years now. And I was under 18 when I first started on here. It only says on my account that I have know that I've been on here for 2+ years. But I've had two other accounts that were taken down because I let it slip my age. Now that I'm over 18 I'm wondering how many people were under the age of 18 when they signed up for INN?
WARNING: if you say your age now and it's under 18 don't be surprised if soon you won't be able to get into your account.

I was 27. It was a weird age for me that as many of the stars I'd idolized were part of the 27 club, had died at 27. It actually feels weird now being older than my idols

I was 16. I don't know why I never got banned. I would probably have banned me.

    • Probably because you seem older than you are, and rather than a lot of sixteen year olds, actually contributed. Or, they just never realized you were sixteen due to how you contributed.

I don't know why you would of banned you/someone like you. Although we sometimes disagree, you offer different perspectives.

Interestingly, I took every opportunity to say that I was 16, especially if someone made one of those threads we still get every now and then about how we should ban all the younger people here. I got protective of them and defensive in response to the attitude of anyone who wanted to get rid of them.

Like you, I wasn't the same person then that I am now. I was a bit of a shit-stirrer. Once I'd been here for a few months and I let it be known I was under 18 I felt untouchable and was happy to brag about it, daring anyone who had a problem with it to report me and see how much good it did. Even then no-one ever picked a bone with me about anything much (apart from yourself and wigsplitz and a handful of others, but I don't think that was ever personal) and Udi never had a word with me or banned me or anything. I felt like there was a lot of unneeded bravado in between all the usual dom180ness, and I would have found it really annoying :P I'm glad I'm not like that now.

  • I would say around fourteen, fifteen, or sixteen, no higher than sixteen when I started.

I was different back then. I could not for the life of me type without using "txt" speech, I would just focus on the negative rather than apply positive and negative aspects to my input of the question.

I am glad I am not who I was back then, and in all honesty, IIN, the questions, the people/community, are probably the primary reason how I changed so much.

Although I am not a favorite among many on here, I do owe the community a thank you for helping me be who I am today.

So, erm. Thanks, guys and gals.

Sorry to sound like your parents....maybe. I think you will do well in whatever you do because you have "good sense" I have seen several that don't have nearly as much as you have going for you, such as your empathy for others and the sense of what is really important. I know that you are not young in thinking. You are very logical in what I have read regarding your responses to others. I also was aware that you are college material and by no means "a child". I am on your side and I know you will succeed in whatever you do.

Obviously, if anyone reads your responses they would say that you are and were much older. You have a good sense of what is right and what is wrong. You will do very well in society if you get the credentials that you deserve. (Like a degree) I am counting you to do your best. Ok?

I have to say that first part sounded nice, so thank you for that. But that second part seemed sort of derisive. Yes I will get a degree and succeed in this world, but the way you said it, it was like I'm a child. Which I'm not by the way, I'm actually 18. But like I said for the first part thank you.
