Hi guys was wondering how one uses discord?++
I feel old but I am 25....
I need some likeminded people to me and apparently they are in discord.
It just open chat many people write things and very messy :O
My brain get overwhelmed like whaaa so much at once and I feel eugh what if I type something and people think they dont like me :( I dont know guys how do you use it??
I go in there and I say hello then what??+
I want to know people and friends.

    if you want i can give you my discord user and you can friend me, i have a discord server with mostly iin people on it. it's pretty chill and we just talk about random stuff or share memes, we're all friends there so there's nothing to be scared of, you're welcome to come join :>

    Talking about something you’re interested in or have experience in is always easier than the dead end “Hey, hi, how are you, good you ? Also good, okay” small talk.

    I would suggest waiting for a conversation to arise that you can piggyback off of or reply directly to. If the more socially-confident do their job they should be eager to welcome you into a conversation. Talking with the group will come naturally and feel free soon after the first jitters are overcome.

    First interactions can be nerve racking for some people, especially if you’re an introvert, and traversing social media can be tricky if you aren’t fluent in how to use the app’s tools.

    There is a “How to use discord” beginner guide on YouTube that can teach you how to reply directly, tag users, and see who is saying what as well as explain different channels, servers, basic app knowledge.

    there are lots of different kinds of servers on discord, if you are 25 and feel old you might find slower/mature servers that revolve around specific topics more appealing. looking for servers on https://disboard.org/ is worth a shot sometimes. The faster servers that are filled with teenagers might not be as good for you
