How to get rid of lizards from your home???

Its been two months we had moved into this apartment and their are lots of lizards in my room. Only and only in my room and nowhere in the house, I don't know why this is happening;(. I have Herpeto phobia & I am too scared of the lizards. each and everyday the lizards make terrible sounds for about 8/10 times. I even dream of this evil creatures biting me. I want to get rid of them. I can't even study properly in their presence fearing that they're behind me. Even when I'm typing this they are making sounds. I don't care if they eat up all the bugs and insects, I'd rather want mosquitoes to bite me!!!!! Pls help

    Unfortunately for you these lizards are very dangerous, if you don't feed them. They will begin by eating your toes, then move on to your fingers. Any little bit that sticks out of the covers is next, nose, ears and eyelids.
    I read of a teen that was left with only his torso after only 16 nights.
    I would recommend that you begin feeding your lizards ASAP, before it's too late!

    Start charging them rent. Lizards are incredibly stingy. They'll leave.

    Chances are that they are eating cockroaches and not mosquitoes. As soon as the bugs go away, so will the lizards.

      Yes, their are a large amount of cockroaches here but I am not scared of cockroaches at all. I can even hold them and throw them in the bin without being feared but I hate lizards, I need to get rid of them. Only I know how much I hate this reptile. :'(

        You should be scared of cockroaches. They breed exponentially and spread disease. They shit everywhere and crawl through their own feces and spread it- along with loads of other unpleasant bacteria- to places like your countertops and toothbrushes (yes, they eat toothpaste and will crawl all over your toothbrush). Look it up.

        As this other person said, the only way to get rid of the lizards is to eliminate their food source...as in, hire an exterminator, for fucks sake.

    Get a .22 handgun with laser sights. Why git rid of them when you can have the fun of target practice right there in your own bedroom? Just re-plaster the wall every couple of years or so.

    Get some pet tarantulas and let them loose to crawl around your house. They will eat the lizards. Problem solved !

    Figure out what lizards like to eat (I'm not doing your Google homework for you) and bait a rodent trap with whatever they like. The biggest problem is, if you don't get a clean kill you'll only maim them... they can leave parts behind and escape. Sort of creepy, but you already feel that way. Good luck.
