How to say goodbye to date?

This is a kind of weird and maybe obvious question, but how should I say goodbye to a date? For example if I’m in the dorms should I ride the elevator down with him? Should I give him a long hug? I would like your opinion especially if you’re a guy and what leaves the best impression!

Whatever feels natural at the moment. Dont even sweat about it. If you had a good time tell him such and that you hope to see him again. If not we'll ive never had a bad date but go woth the flow.

Before my first date with my current guy I was sweating bullets. But once the time came idk I just invited him inside before we went out we talked and got to know each other. I found myself growing a noticeable desire towards him and I guess he noticed cause next thing I know we are kissing. Shortly after we went out for breakfast and it was a great time. It all felt so natural. So if I learned anything from this dont worry to much and just enjoy the moment go with the flow of things

I think he’d rather you ride him than the elevator.

A hug at the very least if the date went well. You don't really have to kiss the guy especially if it's your first date or you're not sure if you actually like the guy or not. Showing you want to spend more time with him is also good, like walking with him to the entrance of the building. If you're out somewhere ask the guy to walk you to your car or wherever you need to go when the date is over.

I think the biggest thing though would be to call or text the guy afterward and don't wait for him to do it.

Don't force anything, just say goodbye naturally, though it kinda bothers me when a girl hastily says bye and walks away like they aren't interested only to ask if i'm free the next weekend. You don't have to kiss him or anything, unless you want to ofc. hug is sufficient imo.

    Some amusing comments here. 😁

I'm with those who say you should try not to sweat it and just go with whatever you feel inspired to do at the moment.

You have to accept that there will be times when the two people on a date don't come to the end of the evening feeling the same way. So you might experience uber-cringe moments, like you starting to lean in for a kiss at the same instant the guy stretches out a hand to shake yours. But I assume you're a woman, and women can generally read social interactions much better than guys. So it's much more likely you'll be preparing to crouch down and shoot away from the scene like a sprinter coming off the blocks at the same instant the guy lunges for you with open mouth and tongue at the ready.

Three kisses. Kind of a ritual that only the two of you know about.

I guess I must be developing psychic powers, because I had a strong premonition that this hidden comment would be by you.

People downvote me because they can’t handle how right I am about everything. It’s really not my fault.
