Sometimes I picture you all in my mind, so I'm dying to know how you dress. Are you formal and dapper, slovenly, casual or quirky?
Is it normal that I want an idea of your fashion sense? Are your clothes even normal?
I live in Florida so it's hot as hell most of the time. I wear a lot of button down shirts with roll up sleeves with shorts and loafers. Super preppy white guy style. Or board shorts, a t-shirt, and sandals. Rarely wear a suit, but wear dress shirts and slacks for work. I spend a lot of money on shoes and timepieces, not so much pants and shirts; its the accessories that really make the outfit imo.
I have no fashion sense. I'm just a disembodied head with a face that is full of department store cosmetics when I'm not feeling lazy, which is rare, because I'm lazy more often than not.
Neutrals look super nice & modern. I'm jealous of your subdued fashion sense. I can't help myself with the colors!
It's really just a matter of practicality. If I had colorful clothing and I grab an outfit at random because I'm too lazy to actually pick one out, I might end up walking out of the house sporting a neon green shirt and purple-pink striped pants. But when my entire wardrobe is nice and dull, I can wear any combination of clothes and not look like I escaped from a circus.
Like pretty much everything else in my life, my fashion sense is just glorified laziness.

The whole gopnik thing died out in Bulgaria in the mid 2000s.
Nowadays only sporty types, kids and the occasional poor drunk keep the gopnik look going.

Gopnik is actually a borrowed word from Russian. We don't have an accurate word for a chav, so we use gopnik. The closest thing to a young slacker/ vandal/ lowlife would be "kelesh", (literally scald head) But gopnik is better...
Also, I could never dress like that, since I'm not a sleazy used car dealer in some remote backyard, but a Peugeot dealership manager (still a bit sleazy). So at work I need to button up my shirt a bit more to look representable and wear a suit to meetings. Glossing over my work attire...
Here's a bit of history... When democracy came in 1989, ex cops, thugs, ex military and all manner of scum formed the Bulgarian mafia and the first political parties. When they quickly got rich in an almost lawless country switching from communism to democracy with no control, they started buying expensive cars, apartments and all that, but because it took some time for western fashion to get here, a lot of them dressed in tracksuits. Also tracksuits were easy to wash and take care of. Try finding a dry cleaner in 1993 Bulgaria for your Italian custom-made suit...
Imagine the ridiculousness of watching this knuckle-dragging thug get out of a 150000 DM Mercedes in a cheap, knockoff Adidas tracksuit. But that was their signature look.
So kids, teens and wannabe thugs wanted to emulate that. Mafia thugs were the only rich people in Bulgaria in that period. And since young people didn't have the German Marks for a W140 S-class, they bought tracksuits. Basically what you see Russian "gopniks" do on youtube, it was the same thing in Bulgaria in the 90s. Drinking, eating sunflower seeds, squatting on monuments, insulting old people, sticking it to the man and all that nonsensical rebel goodness...
But as more western merchandise entered Bulgaria, more jobs opened up and the quality of life started to rise, the mafia went to a more semi-formal, to formal look. And by 2005, nobody wanted to dress like 90s thug, so the gopnik look died out. Everyone wanted those cool Levis jeans, Converse sneakers, that Gucci bag, the cool Sony Bravia flatscreen tv and everything else the west had to offer.
Nobody wanted to emulate what the mafia did anymore. People found their own style.
Nowadays the only people you'll find walking around in tracksuits are sports nuts, the occasional drunk and maybe some children.
The 90s to early 2000s were crazy times for Bulgaria.
PS: I take it you are from England... First time I see someone from England interested in Eastern Europe... Most brits think we are scum. My girlfriend's father thinks so too, tried his best to prove he is better than me (cause he's British) but the old bastard drives a Rover and I have 4 Mercedes, an old BMW and his daughter, so I think win XD
Contrary to the stereotype, Eastern European countries are among the oldest in Europe with a very long and rich history. Communism and Russia ruined us.

I'm actually American, but I live in Australia. We have an equally abysmal knowledge of world history, so there are a lot of strange stereotypes floating around about eastern Europe, which I find to be a shame because that part of the world is supposed to be absolutely beautiful & has such a diverse and interesting history. I'm really hoping to travel to the Balkans some day.
My soon to be grandmother in law is an immigrant from Hungary, so I've spent quite a bit of time talking to her about her experience moving to Australia & learning a lot about her corner of the world.
I find it a shame that people are not more interested in learning about or visiting eastern Europe, but I guess that means less annoying tourists if I visit Croatia!
Um...hmm I guess I'm mostly into the like lolita style from Japan but I don't do the pastels really..the occasional Lavender or like Baby Pink are the closest I get to pastels. Other than that I do a kinda tuned down goth thing with a lot of skirts and boots and stuff.
I enjoy dresses, skirts, simple tshirts and tank tops, tight pants, I'm always wearing a bow in my hair and a chocker around my neck. Hair is usually up in a pony if at work otherwise I prefer it hanging loose. My sweater is always nearby since I'm commonly cold. Normally tennis shoes but I adore my heels flats and wedges especially the open toe ones. I do like boots as well but I have worn any in sometime

I had very weird fashion sense when I was younger but now basically wear the same outfit every day like a cartoon character. A guy at my uni once told me “I need to be more like you, you wear the same shoes and jacket every time I see you.”
More sports clothes myself. I live in Minnesota—So I usually wear like Minnesota Twins shirts, Vikings, Timberwolves, or Minnesota Wild. Oh and don’t forget the Minnesota Soccer team outfits!!
I did read it & I love your answer! I always enjoy an interesting and eclectic sense of fashion. It's a great way to express your wonderful personality and all of the things that influence and interest you. I'm a bit of a weird dresser & collector myself, so I always appreciate a unique sense of style!
I actually don't wear clothes at all. I'm a nudist, and where I live there actually isn't a ban on public nudity. Except in the post office for some reason. Yet for some reason, nearly everyone still wears clothes. I don't though, clothes make us out of touch with the Earth's energy. I have found that when I stopped wearing clothes, all of my chakras opened and I'm more in touch with the frequencies of the universe

Not really. My body has adjusted to it. I read that going naked 24/7 is healthier for testicular health. And in turn, benefits the entire body. I've read that if it weren't for clothes, our lifespan would be at least 200 years!
It gets cold, but I don't care because I have an incredibly massive johnson and literally every woman in town gets to see it! The ladies literally can't keep their eyes off me! It's precisely 13.45 inches, and I just like to show it off!!!!!! So, fuck wearing clothes! Plus, it helps to open the chakras!
I walk around in assless, leather chaps. I also walk around with a big horse dick strap on most days

Purdy good system. I used to sit at a computer screen all day writing mathematical software to target and neutralize military threats. On the weekends, it felt good to jack up the car, do brake jobs, or pull apart dishwashers and figure out what's wrong with them. Why buy new cars and appliances, when the best puzzle of the week is waiting for y'alls own entertainment?

You don't say? I have competed in amateur bodybuilding already, and you wear what amounts to a loincloth. Its about context though, if I am on stage, that is what people expect. I actually don't like trying to show of my muscularity in everday life tho. I would look to out of place in a wrestling singlet.

All jokes aside, I find that the best way for a man to show off his nice figure is to wear clothes that fit well. Too many men in sloppy oversized clothing! A nice just tight enough t-shirt & some well fitting jeans will show off all your assets.

Since you're a fan of converse (i think?) I used to have a pair that were turquoise velour(!!) and lime green, I loved those shoes. they were the only ones of it's kind in a chain shoe store among all the "normal" converse (canvas, plain colors), and they just happened to be my size. supposedly a limited edition and rare now. I wonder if they were planted 1 per store as some kinda marketing thing.

Those sound fucking amazing! I do have some...omg I can't spell polka dot, pokadot, poke a dot converse & some plaid ones, but I've tried to control myself with the weird patterns. I try to stick to stuff that will actually match with multiple dresses I own.
It's tough now because you can get anything & everything. I used to have to hunt through thrift stores to find bright & weird clothes.. now if I want a shark print scarf, weird British child molester socks (i have em...they say "dodgey geezer & have a pic of a creepy old man in a van), a dinosaur print dress...i can find and get all these things shipped in 3 days.
I try to be practical & at least semi-adult...most of the time ;)
Half the time I'm wearing my Target work clothes: red, long sleeved, boatneck shirts and khaki cargo pants. The other half of the time I'm wearing black and other dark colors. The outfits lately are usually a choker, tank top, shorts(or a skirt), knee high socks, and sneakers or boots. I don't know what word would describe that. XD
I always pictured you as pop goth. Like very goth light; what it would look like if target did goth. It must be all the purple & black!

My style at Target is way different to how I dress normally. When I go shopping at my job on my off day, there's at least two coworkers surprised at how different I look in my everyday wear.

Some of the things I wear are goth inspired. I forgot to mention I'll sometimes add a fishnet shrug, fishnet gloves, or spiked choker and wristbands to my outfits. Sometimes I'll add chains. The choker and chains are a pain in the butt to remove sometimes though.

Pair that with some high heel sandals, pantyhose and a black skirt that is a couple inches above the knee and that is my style.

Well, what I recommend then is google searching "BOC sandals".
The soles are slightly padded so it doesn't feel like walking on rock like most heel'ed shoes.

Florida is hot hot HOT right now, so right now the weather calls for shorts, slip on shoes, a plain ball cap, a Cami, and a camp shirt. I usually borrow my dad's lol. (I'm a female btw). During the cooler months I'll switch to leggings or skinny jeans, baggy sweaters, a beanie and sneakers, and when it gets REALLY cold I wear a long sleeve shirt, a flannel, work jeans, and boots, and typically a beanie as well.
You still sound absolutely beautiful, and it seems like you can't avoid a few unique touches that express your personality even when you think you're being lazy. It's good that you hang on to a little bit of what makes you special.

😍😍 it is the best feeling. I’m always getting new ones just for that feeling. Half the ones I have are Vans almost always black or grey. I’m trying not to be so boring and get regular clothes but I’ll never be as comfortable. Nice to just throw on a sweatshirt and go about the day. Only jeans I like anymore are American Eagle jeggings they are the most comfortable pants I’ve found.
