I have no problem with cats as a cute cuddly animal, but I consider them harmful to society as there are way too many people with severe cat allergies. It's a public health issue. I feel they should be collected and destroyed. IIN?
I dunno, it's been a rough fall/winter for me. A dear friend who was like a big brother to me passed away from brain cancer back in mid October. I've been messed up since I heard he relapsed in the cancer. At least I got to visit him on his deathbed. It humbling, because I was there with his partner of 25 years and one of his sister's.
I guess you could say I'm heartbroken and in mourning.
People like OP ought to be forcibly injected with cat dander! Fuckin Aaa, cats are awesome! Dog's are nice and I love them, but often times they're too eager to please, whereas cats know how to play it cool!

When I flew to the T&C with my cat, it was amazing how the woman in the seat in front of me suddenly developed a cat 'allergy' about half way through the 5 hour flight, when she finally realized that there was a cat one seat behind her.
Even the stewardess laughed when she complained.
Cat allergy, schmat allergy.
You're acting like 99.9% of people have allergies to cats. Very few people truly have life threatening allergies to cats. In that case, all pets except for fish should be destroyed, because someone is gonna be allergic somewhere along the line.
And hell, if I had my cat taken away from me to be destroyed all because some people are allergic, then I'm going down with him because some animals are actually allergic to human beings. Why not just wipe out the entire earth? I mean, all creatures are threats to other creatures and vice versa.
