Humans dont fight animals only run

If humans get attacked by an animal they never fight back instead try to run. Sometimes there's no chance of running but the human still doesnt fight back. I actually think in many cases a human actually has a chance of killing a attacking animal with their bare hands. For example if a dog attacks a grown man he could lift the dog in the air and slam it. Or if he could get around the dogs neck he could strangle it. But humans rarely fight back against animals and instead submit to their fate. Human males are actually quite large and can generate alot of force with their fists and legs.

    Most people would run, because they don't want to get hurt. Sure, an average human can kill an attacking dog for example, but they will probably get bitten in the fight and it will hurt.

    We try to avoid pain naturally, so it's logical to try and avoid fighting an animal. If said animal is a direct threat to your life, you can fight for your life. Just look at the shark attack survivor stories.
    But in most cases, we risk a bad bite, not losing our lives.
    So avoiding confrontation is the least demanding thing. Path of least resistance.

    Sure, I could fight an aggressive animal and kick it's ass. But I don't want to. I wouldn't want to have bite marks all over my hands. So what if I won? What's done is done, the animal managed to cause damage too. If I can avoid the animal, it's a win-win.

      In short, most just run to be protected.

      Unless they're equipped with a gun.

    Depends on the animal. Humans often fight back against small animals.

    I got curious and have been watching videos of humans fighting animals. This is my favorite one. This guy beats the hell out of a coyote attacking his dog.

    I believe it's human nature to outrun the predator/prey because our stamina is much better. Once they're tired we kill them. Of course it's also our nature to craft tools to kill animals, which is a much better option than anything else. You don't risk catching a disease because they bit you or scratch you (which is very common in nature) and can kill them without them even noticing you.

    Fight or flight. Some people run, others fight. If I got into a fight with a dog I'll gouge its eyes out.

      I heard a few stories of people getting attacked by sharks and while they were underwater they ripped its eyeball out causing the shark to leave.

          Not true. Every single shark eyeball that I ever dismantled was a deliberate part of a meticulous plan. I'm in the ocean right now.

              It is. Everyone always asks if it's a good idea that I'm treading water in the middle of the ocean holding a phone over my head. No one ever asks if it's dangerous that I get jacked up on Monster and seek confrontations with sharks in the first place. No one cares. I see the world for what it is. Fuck 'em.

              Fuck sharks too though.
