i notice that the less close i am to someone the more i cater to them and i’m more fun? my close friends told me that they noticed i act differently when i’m around people i just met. normally, i’m more laid-back and kinda boring.

    I don't know if it's normal, and I think most people would say it's not, but I understand you. With me, I'm much more comfortable with people I don't know than with people I'm close to. It's weird. In a nutshell, my brain is sort of telling me 'they don't know me, so they can't judge me'. But it's the opposite after I get to know them after a while. Say, doing karaoke in front of 100 people I don't know, no problem. Doing it in front of 10 friends, no way!
