I absolutely hate brushing my teeth.
I haven't brushed in months, and my teeth are getting obviously yellow. But I just don't really care most of the time. Is that normal?

It actually is normal. Some people don't, some people do. Its not lazy either some people just can't stand the bristles against their tongue, teeth, or gums because it feels horrible to them. I myself have to force me into brushing my teeth.
Maybe you're using a hard brush. They come in soft. Use the soft kind which are recommended by Dentists and your teeth and gums should feel much better. Also don't hold the brush too hard against your teeth.
Everybody should brush their teeth twice a day. I've learnt the hard way and thanks to Smile Cliniq team in London. My teeth are ok now.
Here's their website they are brill

Just spreading the love
well i hate brushing my teeth too...but i eventually do it. i usually have to talk myself into doing it! But u should really brush your teeth. its not only bad for your teeth but for urself also because every night your mouth builds up bacteria. just do it, it goes by very quickly.
Teeth... Good god, I hate them. I always want to pluck every single god damn One out so I wouldn't have to brush...
Eventually you will start losing friends and could end up with very expensive dental bills never mind all the pain from toothaches when your teeth start falling out. Go to an impoverished neighborhood where you will see a lot of people with no teeth, is not an attractive look. Ever try to eat a steak or for that matter anything with no teeth. Hard to find a date with no teeth.
It's okay, I get it. I hate it too. I always have. When I was a kid I would trick my parents into thinking I did it. I was very stubborn about it.
Some tips: Look at what you're using. Do you like your toothpaste? Do you like your toothbrush? Do you prefer mechanical or regular? Hard or soft bristles? Experiment with it, see what you like.
I find trying to just make it a habit can be hard. Instead, Ive come uo with a rule fir myself: When Im in the bathroom in the morning or at bedtime, if I think of brushing my teeth, if the thought even crosses my mind, then I have to. It still sucks but its a bit less pressure.
To the people insulting the asker: Shut up. Fuck off. Don't lecture them, what you are "contributing" is not useful, just cruel.
Before I start brushing my teeth, I absolutely dread it.
I can't stand the feeling of having bad breath though, especially because of my occupation and relationships.
But then again, after I muster the courage to start brushing my teeth, I'm fine. But then again, absolute dread and procrastination beforehand.
The hell man? You are killing yourself and others with your gutter mouth. Brush please! It's a health issue. Do you at least rinse?
that is disgusting and lazy. Your teeth are important and believe it or not, people judge you by how you take care of your teeth.
If that's not an incentive, consider this; people who have bad oral hygiene tend to develop heart disease because of the bacteria absorbed by blood vessels.
This is horrendous. What is wrong with you? How can people stand to be around when your mouth is open, letting loose the stenches of Hell? Brush your teeth lest they all fall out.
You are krazy and your breath must smell bad and your teeth must be yellow and a lot of stains
It’s been months since I properly brushed my teeth I feel awful and it bothers me so much but honestly I feel like I don’t have two minutes to spare of my day I wake up 2-3 times in the night to feed my 6 monther I’m exclusively breastfeeding and it makes me super tired and sleepy his last feed is at 4:30 then he sleeps till 8:30 I feed him then I eat then I put him to his play garden and around 10 something I need to put him for a nap then he he feeds again around 12:30 1ish? He falls asleep after he takes a nap then I do with him I put him to play but after 10-15 mins of playtime he wants me to hold him so that takes time too last nap if he does is aroun 3 or 4 but if not then from 1 every few hours I need to feed him he can’t wait for even one second he gets so fussy by 7:30 I put him to bed at which time I have my dinner I don’t even know at which point I can brush my teeth I wake up so tired an think how am I going to eat breakfast an when I do think of brushing my teeth I’m exhausted and the take a nap to be perfectly honest I think I’m just a very tired mommy which makes me bothered with the simplest of tasks.
It's normal. I hate it. I hate the sound, The Feeling, And that it ruins Drinks Right when I do it. I'm not lazy at all. I tend to forget and I want to keep forgetting because it's retarded
I've been raised to brush my teeth everyday (and floss) so I DEFINITELY can't relate. Trying not to judge, but when you don't floss and take care of your teeth it REALLY shows. You really should.. if you ever go to the dentist I'm sure an examination would show it. Cavities, bleeding gums, gingivitis, bad breath. Gotta keep up your oral health hun if you want your chompers to last a long time! But don't worry, you don't have to brush all of your teeth, just the ones you want to keep;)
