I have very less concentration power. I am a Software Engineer.I But I am very good in the Science topics like Quantum Physics, Particle Physics. I want to change my job.
Please tell me/guide me how to concentrate on my current job and how to change my job..
Just hold onto this job as long as you can and look for one that seems interesting to you. Quitting the job now without having 1 to go to wouldn't be very great under the current circumstances.
You just need to find a job that you are .. well, passionate about. One where you get to do stuff you would do at home even if nobody would pay you for it.
I know the feeling very well as pretty much all my software development jobs I've had were ok at the start, simply because it was something "new and fresh", but once you settle down and get into that repetitive state where you just feel like you're just a gear in a machine, crunching out code, it stops being fun and just.. feels like a job.
I can't say if finding 1 that you'd be passionate about will be any better (still working on that myself), but I'd like to think that having a job you actually look forward to doing would be more "stimulating" than 1 you don't care for
First find a job that you would be happy doing and confirm you would actually enjoy it for the rest of your life. Like by volunteering at the job to get a real taste of it. And then I guess start applying, and when you nail a job, give your two weeks notice to your current employer.
But like formalin says, the job market sucks right now. Just stay put and don’t risk it until things settle down.
