Is it normal that I still haven't learned my lesson about waiting 5-10 minutes before eating things from the oven like cookies, pizza, french fries and fish sticks? Why is shit from the oven so damn hot and why am I so stupid that I can't wait 5 minutes? I'm a grown adult and I should know better.
When food is done, we want to chow down.
maybe have an appetizer while the food is cooling.
I do that all the time. Especially If i have no patience to wait until food cools a bit. I do burn my mouth. but sometimes i just don't care.

Obviously you know about it because you're aware that you have the option to wait for the food to cool down. You sound like you're just really impatient.
