I can hear sounds that other people don't seem to hear

Don't know but it's weird.. I think I have normal hearing. When my whole family sits at the table for dinner and somebody scraches the plate with the knife I get horrible shivers all over my body, cover my ears and scream out, because I feel physical pain, because of that noise (this is no understatement) I freeze normally for a while until it wears off. Weird thing is, the other are not bothered at all by that sound, they don't even notice it was made. It makes me feel a bit like a crazy.

You're just more sensitive to certain sounds than other people: normal for you

I remember this hoodlum type guy in my high school German class went up to the front of the class when the teacher was out of the room then raked his fingernails down the chalkboard so fast. Everyone cringed, but it freaked out this one girl so bad that she actually cried. I personally can't stand the sounds styrofoam makes especially if I happen to be touching it. Eww!

I have problems with certain sounds as well, such as Styrofoam rubbing together, fingernails on a chalkboard, screeching sounds and high-pitched hysterical voices. This is a common symptom for people on the autism spectrum as well.

When I hear someone scream on the T.V.,I get super-annoyed and sometimes I say "shut up!" to the screen.

this happens to me ALL the time, so i totally get where you're coming from. like pervertedlonergirl commented, there's a neurological condition known as "misophonia", or "select sound sensitivity syndrome", and what you described is a sound that describes most people with this condition. it's completely normal and natural due to how your brain is wired, which is slightly different than other people's, but that doesn't make it a bad thing.
