for some reason my brain refuses to take in algebra or anything else similair, I mean REFUSES, like Im listening to jibberish, does any one else feel like this?
I try and try soooo friggin hard to understand any kind if math other than very basic math and I just cannot pick up on it. It's the way our brains are wired mostly. I understand and I know it'd nit because of anything you are doing on purpose. I dread math because of this. My high school math teacher gave me a passing grade because he just completely knew that it was no act.
Dammit, someone already made the grammar comment... I hope I spelled all of that right.
well the more you tell yourself that you cant do it, the less of a chance that you will understand it in the end. think positive, one step at a time and you will figure it out.
It's not your brain, it's you who "refuses" to take Algebra. Stop whining and keep trying.
Funny thing is I struggled with algebra finally got hang of it just before final exam at school.after leaving school I have never used it in 39 yrs of employment
If you can't learn it in a classroom, chances are you'll be able to learn it one-on-one with a tutor. I was the same way with calculus.
Yep, l know l missed 3 months of school..and did not get the 'first chapter' and never found the missing link..and maths and algebra just did zig zags around my head. I have loads of other qualifications so l do not mind, and have managed to but carpets and decorate and cater for many and solve problems by just knowing basic multiplication, devision and fractions ....and l might add..l usually solve things quicker than mt dearly beloved who is a genius with maths. He thinks logical and l think lateral.
its normal but when you hates math ., math will also hates you . try to embrace it even if its hard. math is an important subject.

I have the same problem and I am dyslexic and have dysgraphia prob ur prob idk
I used to be like that. But now im a freshman in algebra two, and im good at it. We all have problems with certain things. Some more than others. Get a tutor.
i'm like that too, i just can't understand math or anything related to it!and it's weird cuz i'm pretty good if not very good at every other class.Why?Don't know!
Keep trying!! i also can't do maths during high school. but now, in college i do better in maths and get a good grade for it. Actually, MATHS subject is the easiest subject than others. like when i compare maths and physics, i gonna choose maths as the easier subject than physics. PHYSICS is most difficult subject like hell!
It's about what you like... Math is all about understanding. If you don't want to understand I don't know what to do for you. But you can be wrong about math. I know people who also didn't like it, and then started to like when they become to understand.

It maybe depends on what course you are taking and what math area you are studying. I'm not saying math is harder just because I'm taking a course of math XP, but there are math areas that aren't that easy. (Just wasn't able to shut up after reading your coment XP)
