I can't get him outta my head..

I have a huge crush on my old teacher from last semester, everytime I see him in the hall we smile at each other. He's been acting really weird lately thou, like the other day he was on caff duty and he kept pacing round my table and acting silly around me. And today I walked out into the hall and he was like stomping his feeting trying to catch my attention. I can't get him off my mind, and I KNOW we can never be together but I can't help but wish it would happen. He's all I ever think about, and even though he's not my teacher anymore I still can't help but think about him... is this normal or am I doomed..

      • You did. Some of us are here to help...others to have fun...I've been known to do both. Don't take it personally. I answered you in a way I hope helped further down this page.

The crush is normal. Him acting all funny around you? Not so much. Maybe that was perceived incorrectly by you though.

I once had a crush on my mathematics teacher. He was handsome and kind and funny. He was a real gentleman and I found him quite rare, refreshing, and genuine, to find man like him from where I live. I was totally infatuated in him. I eventually got over him when I started dating my then and current girlfriend. That was when I realised that he smiled like he had to me to everyone else, and that he takes time out of his breaks to help whoever needs help with their homework. Getting over the crush was easier for me because his wife is the dance teacher at the same school, and his best friend teaches in the classroom next to his... I started 'shipping' the three of them together and was happy with that. Haha. Awkward... xD

You're in high school, if he tries anything tell him that he needs to wait!

if you get a chance when no one else is watching, start sucking on your finger while he sees you and wink at him indicating that if he plays his cards right, he's next.

    • Then yeah...I'm sure that you are one among many teenage girls who fall for a masculine athourity figure. It's normal and you're wired that way.

What bothers me is how he is acting towards you. He's had a lifetime of experience and knows better. While it's normal for a heterosexual man to think and feel that way towards a subordanate and attrative young female, he's in a position of power and wields numerous potential predatory weapons built up over a lifetime of experiences. That's exactly why we have laws that protect inexperienced young women like you...from people like him.

So to answer your question...yes it's normal, but it's more than wrong; it's dangerous.

      • I realize that its bad, he's not a bad guy or anything he's a total sweetheart. Not only has he helped me through my school work, he's been there for me from personal issues. He's changed my life compleatly since the day I met him...because of him i'm a better person. I know its wrong but... I still want him Idk im rambling but thanks. :)
