I can't shave after just a day or two, i have to leave it at least 3 days

If I shave my face the day after I've last shaved it, or even two days after, it shaves really badly. It shaves very roughly across my skin, and then my skin always gets very red and really hurts. The redness is still visible 3-4 hours later and just looks really bad, so there's no point in shaving then cos it looks just as bad as if I just didn't shave anyway.

    Shave it after you get out of the shower when your skin is soft. It hurts me too bad to just shave in the sink without a shower first. The steam from the shower softens it up and makes it easy.

    That doesn't sound normal. Maybe you have sensitive skin. Have you tried using lotions regularly, good razors and using gentle shaving creams?

    Just grow it out if you can. Most men look better with beards, even if they're not full and "proper" beards.

    I shave every other day. Doesn't grow enough to shave each day. You are right it's rough to shave each day'

    Shave After you shower, using shave gel. AND use a newer, sharp blade AND shave WITH the grain of your beard. For most men, that means shave downward and possibly sideways, but not upward. Depending on your beard and the quality of your razor blade, you may get 2 or 3 shaves out of a blade, or (if you're 14) 8 or 10.

    Someone said shave after shower, I say no, shave while in the shower. Like you mention I also will end up with face kinda tender and not ready for another shave for a few days. ALSO make sure you are using a quality blade, shave cream and make sure you get your face wet and let it sit for a minute after you get the shave cream on there. Myself I use the Gillete Fusion 5 blades and I use the Gillete shave cream. When done if you clean razor good then put the razor blades down in a bit of olive oil the blades will last longer and not get that rusty look to them.

    Yea, you need to stop buying cheap razor. Only buy good brand. and replace when not sharp anymore.

      Or buy crap razors and use them once and toss them. I can find a bag of 10 for 2 dollars.
