I cant stand old people

I can't stand old people. They're so slow. They mumble. Drive too friggin slow, take forever about getting places...and my god, don't talk to them cause they will try to tell you their whole damn life story when its OBVIOUS that they're holding up a line of other people, or whatever. Move them to the assisted living facility and lock the gate. Ahhhhhh. I'm probably going to get some flack for this but, they're torture to deal with.

How old are you to say you dislike old people? You must be careful what you wish for. One day you will be "old" and maybe your children will have you institutionalized!

You should respect old people and listen to them, they have vast knowledge and maybe could share some information with you that could be very handy

    I do not know where you come from or where you live, however I do know that "old people" are to be respected!
    
    The problem with the youth of today is that you have been brought up by parents who have not instilled "good" values in you!
    
    This I am sad to say will bite them in the arse one day, as you are the very offspring that they are going to depend on when they become needy and you are going to ignore their needs.
    
    This in itself is a vicious circle as you no doubt will also raise your offspring in a very similar manner i.e. without any social skills!
    
    So in closing, fuck off, you too will become old!

      Its a mad world. Say what you will, but that's not the real world. I don't give a fig what someone's age is. Some old people aren't worth the time. Stop making them out to be innocent angels. Not all of them qualify.

  Nope, not generalizing. I have held off for awhile aiming to be fair but, they're proving, over and over again, to be idiots that fumble, get in the way, cause too much trouble, and need to be given a rocking chair and a bingo game to vegetate their time away.

    Actually, I find this post pretty offensive. But hey, I understand you are a bit mentally challenged and certainly think yourself way too self important to slow down long enough to savor life.
    Not to worry, it sounds like you won't be one of those "idiots that fumble, get in the way, cause too much trouble", because you'll die from a cardiac event in your early 40's.

        I tried antidepressants once, but they fucked with my sex life and THAT made me REALLY depressed. Bad trade!

        Go gypsysailor! Who did invent an antidepressant that fucks with yr sex life? Years ago I found that prozac and prozac type drugs didn't remove the desire, only the ability to orgasm. I've noticed that most websites about drugs that affect people's sex lives refer only to "erectile disfunction" and I used to write to all of them pointing out that women have libido issues with these drugs (eg statins for high cholesterol) but as far as I know none of them ever changed the information.
        
        So to paraphrase yr last line: Depression aint a big deal even though it's a bloody nuisance, but a dry unresponsive cunt, YIKES!

Sometimes they can get annoying because they're cranky for no reason.. But if were old too I'd have the right to be pissed off at the dumb shit you see everyday in this day and age -.-

  There are LOTS of reasons why old people may be cranky, probably all the same reasons as young people, with the added complications of medication side effects,poverty, illness, ungrateful children, and often constant pain which can't be relieved.
  
  Of course we're sometimes slow when it hurts to move ...
  
  I really hope OP lives to be really really old and then she'll know what it's like and may regret the intolerance and impatience shown in his post.
