I volunteer when I can to help shelter animals, specifically dogs, and it's a very rewarding use of my time.

Now sometimes it does get boring, you basically just sit there with the dog and do some people watching or pick your nose, whatever you wana do really.

Here comes the hard part, sometimes I...I tickle the hair between the pads on the dogs feet and they all react to it. And I just can't stop doing it. I even do it to my own dog at home! He got me back once though, kicked me right in the balls.

Is this normal?

    I'm just glad you aren't fucking them. IIN dog stories have me very jaded.

    What I found really "un-normal" is that the dog had good aim and got you in the sack.

      He's a big pit bull, and he likes the bed. Laying down next to him, well he kicked out.

      I think he did it on purpose, he's mad I took away his.

    i feeds my dawg a cana cat food and then pet him while sayin 'nice kitty' every now and then

    its myall lil joke on him since he plays endless jokes on me

        i calls him while hes in the yard and he gits a mischievous look on his face shows me his ass and defiantly walks off into the woods

        hes just generally disobedient like the time i told him to stay on the porch and instead he ran into the yard and chased a black bear up a tree

        he also jumps upn bites my belly when wes playin fetch and i wont throw the whatnot soon enough by his estimation

    Stop pissing them off.

    Sitting there with the dog with some people watching or picking your nose sounds like a very rewarding use of your time. Yes.

    I think if you aren't harming the animals , that's fine . I would suggest doing it in moderation as it may tickle the dog and ... come on , the puppy needs a break .

    Haha awww!!! I give my dogs massages and whisper to them how special
    they are and give them smoochies on their nose. Don't judge me either!!!

      My dog knows the word "smooches" like a command and will like my face if I say it and I will kiss her back on the nose. I refer to this as "smooches from pooches ", and regularly use that term.

    Maybe when you get bored you should call your boyfriend to come over and you could tickle the hairs between his gonads and you would both have a great time. I think THAT would be a little more normal.

    Normal. Sometimes I tickle the feet on my sister's dog. After a while she gets hyper and runs around trying to get people outside to play. Playing with her in the backyard is fun though she can get a bit bitey when she's in that running hyper state.
