I have tasted alcohol and drank before and it tastes terrible, to me it’s just bitter juice to get you drunk, why not just drink regular juice if you aren’t trying to get drunk. It tastes better. Peer pressure has never affected me.
I've never liked to drink, so I don't. I don't judge others for doing it, so I don't see what the problem is.

From a former borderline alcoholic, you are doing the right thing.
I never had a taste for hooch, but I married an alcoholic who drank southern comfort every night. I started to develop a desire to do the same.
Now we are both alcohol free and couldn't be happier, but I shudder to think what our lives would have become if we hadn't decided to say enough is enough.
i really feel its an acquired taste. I remember absolutely hating the taste of my first beer. Now a days although i don't drink often i quite like the taste of beer. so much so that i even drink Neh beers ( beers without alcohol) from time to time just because I enjoy the taste. Kinda like a black coffee its not sweet like juice sure, but if your someone who likes earthy bitter savory taste in a drink, then you'd much prefer it over a sugary sweet drink. But yes its totally normal to not like alcohol! and although I'm certain if you exposed yourself to it enough you'd develop a taste ...you're probably better steering clear of it anyway.
Young people drink cause they have to prove something to everyone else, and vice versa. People just wanna get fucked up cause college can be quite stressing.
Some people drink to unwind from their job after a heavy week. Others just drink their problems away completely. To answer the question people start drinking for a reason always a reason.
Once they get into that the body slowly starts to crave more and more it and it becomes an addiction. Not drinking for 2 weeks then suddenly people say SHIT i could use a drink. If they never had a drink they wouldn't say that. So addiction comes in all forms.
Just keep drinking your Juice buddy drinking alchohol isn't worth it. Unless you are a Viking. ;)

Good for you mate! I can't drink legally yet but I don't plan to drink even once I'm 21. To me it's not worth the risk of addiction and it also effects some of my physical pursuits. Whatever the reason, I think it is a good descion mate

Beer is an acquired taste but it’s fun. Especially after a long day at work dealing with jack asses for 8-10 hours everyday.
Even as a child I loved the taste of wine. It's delicious, much more so than cola or fruit juice. I'm a freak though...
There are some drinks that I cannot stand and others that I really enjoy. There are a ton of people who go out & don’t drink and still have a good time.. it’s not a necessity
When I was 15 I thought wine was disgusting. Now I love it. For normal mature people drinking is not about getting drunk. I only drink on weekends and I rarely have more than 2 glasses. I enjoy it. It's a social lubricant and it's relaxing.
It's not bitter. Youve probably only drank 1 beer or maybe vodka before forming this conclusion. Liqueurs definitely taste better than juice my dude, and I drink a lot but rarely get drunk. No peer pressure either......iam peerless!
