Assume it is double. Say 11.6 million people died worldwide from COVID. That number is still so incredibly low that there's no other explanation for shutting down the entire global economy for over a year than sheer retardation or an attempt at a power grab
I calculated that 11.6 million out of 7.8 billion is 0.15%. Meanwhile,
1% Of the world's population died in WW1.
4% Died in the Spanish flu.
3% Died in WW2.
Exactly. Only 11.6 million deaths (and that's assuming double the official numbers) between the start of 2019 and the end of 2021. Compare that with pneumonia, a very contagious illness that results in about 2.5 million deaths every year. So from the start of 2019 to the end of 2021, roughly 7.5 million people died from pneumonia, yet that contagious disease didn't warrant being called a pandemic nor did it warrant shutting down the entire world and ruining countless lives
I find it fairly difficult to believe anyone has an accurate count of how many people have died as a direct result of Covid.
I tested positive for covid 14 days ago and gave it to my wife and son. They did not get tested because they know they had it (they were almost asymptomatic, none of us vaccinated) so out of 3 people in my household who had covid only I am counted as a covid case because I took a test. My point is the ACTUAL number of covid cases is probably at least quadruple if not more than that. So that makes the death rate compared to cases even lower. If 100 ppl have covid and 0 are tested thats 0 covid cases. The actual death rate is likely less than .02%.
My experience with covid is it sucked but I would say the flu was quite abit worse. But then my wife whos pregnant had an easy time with it. My son had a fever but ran around playing and said he felt fine. I think covid has been majorly over blown.
Ppl often complain about "long covid" but theres also long term issues with the flu all the time.
i believe it is a lot less than that, as I know for a fact that when someone dies, they test and even if they die of a heart attack, car crash or what ever if they test positive they say covid death.
The CDC recently released a report stating that since the start of the pandemic, there has been a total of more than a million "excess deaths" in the USA.
A graph of weekly deaths in any large population generally follows a predictable pattern from year to year; "excess deaths" are those greater than what past history indicates should have happened. The link below is for the CDC report. A lot of it is technical jargon, but if you scroll down there's a bar chart of deaths in the USA since the beginning of 2018 along with a flattened sine curve showing the predicted number of deaths based on historical averages.
There's really only one plausible explanation for the sudden surge of deaths in early 2020, and it's reasonable to assume that all the deaths indicated by the length of the bars above that average line since then can be attributed to Covid in some way. It's certain that some of those people didn't die directly due to an acute Covid infection. Some will have had existing conditions exacerbated by the virus and died sooner than they would have if they hadn't been infected. Some will have been left with new long-term health problems after they recovered from the acute phase of the infection, and then died of that. Some will have died due to them not getting the best possible care because the medical system (such as it is in the USA) was highly stressed by the pandemic. Some will have died because they didn't seek medical attention because of worries about infection, so they stayed at home and hoped symptoms would just go away.
But it's also virtually certain that some of the deaths below that average line were also due to Covid. Statistics in the UK show that the deaths from some causes significantly fell during the pandemic. More people working from home meant less traffic on the roads and this reduced the number of vehicular fatalities. Younger people being unable to go out and get shitfaced every weekend meant there were fewer drunken assaults and alcohol-related accidents. The USA has dealt with the pandemic in a generally slapdash way, but there have been some restrictions, and that has very likely reduced the number of non-Covid deaths.

You are correct, and some areas in the USA are deliberetly not reporting covid-19 deaths unless the person specifically had severe covid-19 in the hospital.
There are whole countries that are not reporting Covid-19 deaths, and many others are under-counting it.
The number of actual deaths is fairly easy to estimate though by the people who track total death rates.
There have been significant jumps in "total deaths" and it can be assumed that the increase is from Covie-19. It's been a while since I looked for the estimated Covid-19 deaths by looking at total reported deaths vs annual norms for the deaths reported. But, last time I looked it was off by a factor of several times over the reported Covid-19 deaths.
Whatever the numbers are for China deaths triple it. That would be the closer number.
It’s a flu that only kills the elderly and sickly. The weak/old/disabled are a drain on society anyway, should’ve been more. I’m all for Aktion T4ing them
FUCK YOUR IDEA OF SOCIETY!!! 🖕🏻🤠
I care infinitely more for my loved ones than for some so called society! I want my elderly parents to live at least to 100, I'm doing my best to be a good caregiver, and ensure that they are healthy, and live as long as possible.
Maybe someday you will be weak, old and disabled? 😁👍🏻
