I don't like touchscreens on a laptop.

Touchscreens on a laptop? Why?
It drains battery life.
I can use the touchpad fine.
Fingerprints on the screen!!!! Nooooo!

Am I abnormal for thinking this?

I can't even use touchpads. My favorite laptop is the Thinkpad X60 or X60s, what I'm using rn. Absolute gold.

I don't see the point of a touchscreen on a laptop either. A touchscreen on a tablet saves space, where as a laptop would have a touchpad as well anyway so a touchscreen wouldn't save any space. Plus if you try to use the touchscreen you'd be tipping the laptop over.

Then you can just buy a normal laptop that doesn't have touch screen. Problem solved.

        • Thank you problem solvers. Yes, but, I'm having a bitch time finding one without a damn touch screen that I want to buy right off the shelf, to go, instantly, no fuss.

I hope these damn touch screens don't become commonplace. Hey, battery life is everything.
