I don't own a bed. am i normal?

About six months ago I bought a hammock (per my friends suggestion) He said he never sleeps in his bed anymore because it's so comfortable! Trying mine, I came to the same conclusion. I sleep great, and my back and neck pain is down dramatically.
Since then, I got rid of my bed completely and sleep in the hammock fulltime.
Well... my other friends constantly break my balls over this, call me weird, and say I've completely given up on finding myself a woman.
Is it that weird? Is there hope for me yet??
If it matters, I'm 35, male, and live comfortably but alone in a one bedroom apartment.

Where are you going to comfortably bang the females?

  • I get sick of sleeping in a bed and often sleep on the floor to add some spice to the flavourless curry of life.

  • Hammocks are actually better for people to sleep in.

If it works for your back and neck why not? The Japanese sleep on futons (like a sleeping bag not the type of couch) why not sleep in the best place for your body.

I said like a sleeping bag as in you roll it up when you don’t use it. It’s a space saver

...that's not what you said. Read your actual comment.

Not the type of couch... it’s true though. What part of the sentence has you upset about? You are being quite vague about what part of the comment was wrong.

Idk how you're getting "upset" from my words...but anyway.

I just said you were wrong. Because you were. Then you back pedalled. And you still are.

Can you have sex in the hammock? Can a lady friend sleep next to you after said sex in the hammock? If so then i can't see the issue. If not then... Maybe they have a point? Could always just go to her place though.

On another note - I bet you really saved yourself loads of space by doing this!

It's uncommon, but I wouldn't say it's abnormal. My significant other doesn't own a bed. He sleeps on the couch. (We don't live together yet...unfortunately.)

I sleep in a pile of saw dust and wood chips.

Well I mean it is pretty abnormal considering averages. But I can, in a way, see why it would be more comfortable for you.

I miss laying in hammock in my old backyard, and napping while my sister's rabbit harasses the dog.

You do you. Being able to sleep in a hammock sounds cool. I could never get in those things. I always spin around and fall out.

I’m just trying to figure out what part of the sentence is wrong. I perfer that if I am wrong im corrected but so far you haven’t corrected me on what is actually wrong.
