I don't really understand cultural appropiation

So they say it is punching up to appropriate Jewish and Indian people, and it is punching down to appropriate Mexican and Black people. I just don't understand why I as a poor ethnicity unknown white guy get's shamed for eating the wrong food. I just like curry and soul food. There is no hate in my heart. If I was rich I could have a 23 and me, I am sure I am part Native American and Black
