I never thought that black characters having red lips is racist itself.

I mean, how about the fact that some, if not actually many, black people have red or like dark pink lips, or like lipstick? And now, since society seems to consider makeup to be OK for men too, even some black men wear lipstick.

Am I the only one who doesn't get triggered about black characters having red lips?

        Aww I love Asterix! I was just reading them the other day & saw the kind of characters you're talking about. Then wondered, if people would consider it "racist" the way white people's noses are drawn exaggeratedly huge there too?

    I've never thought it was wrong for an African American to wear lipstick. I've seen some black women wear it a whole lot better than I ever could.
