Idiot, washing your hands after shitting is to protect other people from YOUR germs, not to protect yourself from your own germs!

I remember in my early days of working at Target, I'd let out a loud, obnoxious, belch whenever someone walked out of one of the bathroom stalls without washing their hands. If they got upset and said I was gross, I'd say something along the lines of "it's not as gross as leaving the bathroom with your shit, piss, and menstrual chunks on your hands!" XD

That means you're leaving traces of fecal matter everywhere. You may not be getting sick but everyone else probably is.

Sadly this is very normal. People talk a big game publicly about washing their hands after they've been to the toilet but studies show that an alarming number of people don't bother doing it, and of those that do a lot of them don't do it properly. Lots of people don't bother using soap, for example, which is utterly pointless.

I think it's less about you getting sick, and more about you putting your shit hands on things everyone touches. I mean....do you want the cook who prepares your food to not wash his hands after taking shits?

Um just so you know you won't get sick from not washing your own hands. That's absolutely correct. But the point is you will make other people sick and they will make you sick if they don't wash. The way you get sick is from faecal bacteria transferred to food. Being as the bacteria came from your body then you most likely won't react to it if ingested but if somebody else ingests yours then they will most likely get very sick. This is how E coli is spread as well as various parasites. Your ignorance about this makes me cringe.

You could get away with it if you wipe with good technique, however, for our sake, please just play safe and wash your hands.
