So I am in college...just transfered to a new school and i drive a total of 3 hours every weekend just to see my dog. Normal?
Sure, assuming you love this dog a lot. But then again just for your dog? Like do you not care about the ppl caring for your dog ? Hahaha

No, it's not normal. You're in college, you're supposed to be learning something, making new friends, forming new interests, but instead of doing these things, you're obsessing over a dog.
you are right...i totally have a problem. i can't help it though...like i can't help where my thoughts drift~that I am always missing my dog. it sucks.
If this AH is really in college, it's time he/she got something in their life besides a freaking dog -- members of the opposite sex perhaps? Of course, we all know the REAL reason this person drives 3 hours to see the dog is because they're having sex with the freakin' dog! And don't think that just because it's a small dog there's nothing going on because dogs will lick anything!
You love your dog, you have a strong bond with it. There's nothing wrong going to see your dog, maybe you can get an animal friendly apartment where you can live with your dog instead of driving 3 hours to go see it. I think it's sweet you must have one lucky dog to have an owner that cares that much about it.
