I experienced deja vu in a dream.

a few months back in 2019, i had a dream. not only did I see this dream, but whatever happened also occurred in reality. I guess that's why they call it deja vu.let me explain.


"it was during the afternoon, and I'd been asleep.i still remember it quite vividly, in my dream i am woken up by my mom for dinner. i get up and walk to the dining area and saw my dad sitting at the table eating. now mind you, this dream didn't last long. the reason is because when I woke up, my mom woke me up, and called me to dinner. i went into the dining area in reality and saw my dad sitting at the table in the exact same spot eating.".

i stood before the table, when i realized i saw these events occur in my dream and now it happened in reality. it awestruck me and i was so confused about it all. i had to pinch myself to see if I were actually awake or stuck in a time loop.

i wasn't too sure what to make of it.
so the question is.

has anyone else experienced anything like this before? it was definitely strange.
