I feel afraid of high school... is it nomal?

My social cyrcle is ver odd...
Most of my friends are plain old dumb, and the one i find the most intelligent is just a rotten person.
I'm not the most popular person either.
But the real problem is im going to be a freshmen in highschool in a few months.
I find my self a very likeable person (Yeah i know how dumb that sounds),it has never been a problem for me to find friends, even though im a year younger than my whole generation.
But i just don't find my self ready yet.
Im standing at 170 cm's tall which in eight grade is considered a bit short. Thats not that big of a problem, it will come with time hopefully. I walk by the school ill be in a few months every now and then and i find all those 6'3/6'4 guys very "scary".
My only question is has anybody else had a situation like this themselves...

    Highschool ain't shit lol I was nervous when I first went a quarter of the way into freshman year I realized it wasn't bad. You'll occasionally have the dumb drama afterward it's no big deal really. Just don't go starting things with people, don't pretend to be someone you're not, study hard, try not to stress too much and just make the best of things :)

    Yeah, it's normal to be scared. And there are basically two things that might happen when you get there: either you'll meet all the friends you could ask for, fit in perfectly and love high school (I know it might seem impossible to you, but trust me it isn't); or you'll hate it and everyone there. OR, somewhere in the middle.

    Point is, some people do hate it. I'm not going to lie so you feel better. I hated it and most people there (by the way, posting on IIN is a great distraction from life when you hate school. I did it for years.). BUT, even if you do hate it it DOES END. I know 4 years seems like a lifetime when you're young. But it will end eventually. Sooner than you think.

    ALSO, everyone feels like you when they start at a new school. EVERYONE. Even those people who act super confident; they're all scared. Every single one. Don't trust anyone who says they aren't scared, because they're lying.

    don't take sides, stay out of drama, and be nice to everyone unless they are hated by basically the entire school.

    also don't skip school unless you have another person with you and know you wont be caught
