I'm a man, a closet case. I don't like men like girls, I like real men. But I simply get always attracted by my friends, and I really hate it! I feel like a fool, loving them so much in my wildest dreams. I want to free of all of it. They are my friends, I want to keep my friendships. Please, say me how I can get some help.
I think it's important to set boundaries that you don't cross. We all allow ourselves to become too attached, even if we know that in the end it won't pan out for us. If you are attracted to your male friends, I would say don't put yourself in a position that allows your feelings to keep growing. Sometimes it's hard to control your feelings, but if you're setting expectations for how they should react to those feelings, or doing things that make you more sensually close to them, I'd say that's not a good idea. If you know you can't have a intimate relationship with them, it's best to set the boundaries that prevent you from going near types of situations that further provoke the feelings. These boundaries, in the end, will protect you from getting really hurt.
However, if there is a chance you could be that way with a friend, and he feels the same, then I think the situation would become clear over time, and it would work itself out. Chances are, if they feel the same, you will gravitate towards each other. Don't worry, it's all normal.
