I feel like most people secretly dislike me

In the past I found out people who were my 'friends' secretly didn't like me (there was a notebook I found with a bunch of things said how they were only pretending to like me)

So for years, I always have fears that people secretly dislike me. Friends, coworkers.. I feel like everyone talks behind my back and they're just being nice to me for whatever reasons.. that they don't really like me. It really traumatized me I guess.

    There's always going to be people who dislike you, but don't let that discourage you learn how to forget those people who genuinely dislike you.

      back then it said "do you like (my name)? I don't know if I do" Maybe because I really loved my friends when we were kids, it really hurt to find out they were talking about me and kinda didn't care about me

    So what, I don't like you or most people, I don't dislike you or most people either.

    I don't really care! One of the biggest problems today is people doing things or corrupted by people caring about who or how many people like them.

    I don't have to like you to hire you to do a job. If I need a lawyer, accountant, programer, or person to pick up my garbage, I want one good or great at doing their job. That was the problem the USA had with Trump! I don't care if I like him, I don't know him, but he did an unbelievable job, especially considering he had to fight not only the Dems but a dozen or more anti trump repubs as well.

      This isn't a black trait (seriously, guy). If someone thinks people are against them, it probably means people have actually been against them, like in the OP's own story.

    Same. In fact once when I was still in UK college (not uni), I was in a group chat with the other people in my course. They must not have realised I was there and could see what they said, because one of them wrote in the group chat "love the level 2 performing arts. With a couple of exceptions. :) (Tinybird and Beth)" (But my name instead of Tinybird). It really hurt me. That and being repeatedly ganged up on, bullied, harassed, or criticised for everything especially online, is why I consider myself a misanthrope.
