I am a really short person and I'm okay with staying around people who are average height and people who are short like me. I feel weird with tall people and all I try to avoid contact with them at all costs. Is it normal?
I feel uncomfortable around tall people too,despite I'm rather tall (5'7)...the reason why I started feeling like this is very personal tho. Long ago I was in love with a very cute 5'0-ish teen,but then he suddently grew up to like 6'0 and lost all his appeal to me. Also I don't like how taller people(especially guys) consider me "submissive" because I'm shorter than them :/
Don't worry in 5'1 and most of the people I know are taller then me. On my softball team everyone was taller then me I felt a little uncomfortable. Then I just pushed away there height and it didn't bother me any more. Once you relies height doesn't matter you'll feel better and like to be around tall people. Now all of my friends are taller then me and it's an advantage cuz I might be short but having a tall friend helps. They could get something off a tall shelf for you. It's also really cute to date someone taller then you.

I feel uncomfortable around people I don't like regardless of height. I especially don't like people who are sexually attracted to me, but can't or refuse to take the hint that I'm not now nor will I ever be interested in them. It's just awkward and creepy when someone I'm not into continues to bug me, but I digress.
I'm only about 5ft 5in tall on a good day and I don't mind tall people for the most part, in fact I rather like them if their handsome, intelligent and have a good sense of humor.
