I find the big bang theory funny even without the laugh track

A lot of people say TBBT is not funny without the laugh track. I watched some clips without it and I found it at the least amusing. I'm not saying every joke makes me laugh but I still find quite a few of the jokes funny. Is this normal?

    Laugh tracks make shows worse. I hate laugh tracks and think they can ruin a show more than make it funny.

      Especially as different people find different things funny, if I don't laugh at a laugh track moment it feels like the joke falls flat on it's face, more so than if it didn't have a laugh track,

      There's a show called league of gentlemen, a really weird horror inspired comedy that at moments gets pretty dark so to have a laugh track over the top of that just hurts the comedy, as soon as they got rid of it in the Christmas special and third series it got a lot better

    I hate TBBT's laugh track. They play it after every single sentence uttered. I prefer shows like the Office, where there is no laugh track.

    I dont care for the show. It isnt really funny to ne at all, or clever.

    In a side not somewhat related. I recently watched MASH again. Remove the laughtrack from that show and it becomes very dark.

      That's because MASH wasn't intended for a laugh track. They were forced to use it.

    I love TBBT, Now the show I would just as soon wipe my ass with,, to me its them trying to be funny and I think its stupid as crap, "everybody loves raymond",, I cant stand that show..

    Some shows just need a laugh track because it will flop without it and lose popularity.

    If you wanna watch a good, funny show with no laugh track, watch Suburgatory.

    Laugh tracks are obnoxious. I don't like being told when I'm supposed to laugh. Laugh tracks are not the boss of me!! As for TBBT, I think it is amusing but never funny. Maybe that's because I'm already immune to the laugh track.

    I think I will have to give it a try without the laugh track, to see if I notice a difference.
