I hate him. I get so overwhelmed by my hatred i want to hurt myslef which i did. I hit myself daily when we fight. He’s supposed to be my big brother but hes the one abusing me mentally and physically and just shrugs off the day after. I dont know what to do i hate him so much i have no one in my life i just post here to cry and let strangers help me instead.

    all i know is my brother hates me, and I have no idea of the reason why, to my knowledge i have not done anything to him. I asked and never got an answer.

    I'm assuming you're quite young to be living alongside your older brother. Siblings can be cruel but at a young age you also interpret negatives done to you as more cruel than they actually are.

    This is why having a strong social circle is important so you have another group to fall back on for your social and mental wellbeing for factors that you cannot control. If you haven't already then try to build close relationships with friends. Self harm isn't the option. As a previous self-harmer I assure you that the scars aren't worth it, they're ugly and you will look back on them at a later date with embarrassment.

    Siblings can be trash. Mine was and I was also a trash sibling at a young age. As we age we mature. Without specific examples to comment on I don't think we can really offer any other advice I'm afraid.

    My siblings did some fucked up shit to me too. Now, we’re all best friends. 🤷🏾‍♀️

      My parents always said "you two will love eachother when you get oldee" but they were wrong. I never talk to my sister. Shes 5 years older and we always have fought

        I’ve got a sister 11 years older and another 7 years older. And my brother and I are Irish twins. My sisters made my brother and I eat dog food to get out of a dog cage. They’d put the electric collar on us too. But it’s all good now.

    Kind of normal, you didn't really give enough information like your ages or if you are male or female. I'm the youngest and yes my sisters and brothers at times treated me mean. However, as we grew up there were times each was my best friend. Today my oldest sister is one of my closest friends. If it's sexual you need to find a way to get out of it.

    If you're too young to move out just talk about it to your parent or the responsible adult (I hope it's not him) in the family.

    Your brother sounds quite toxic, especially when you have described him as abusing you mentally and physically, you should move out I don't know how old you are but like I've said about posts like this you should get away and escape from him for good. Otherwise he'll keep affecting you even further.
