Nothing should ever come before the well being of your children. You absolutely CAN stop yourself. Stop being weak minded, man up and take control of the situation. Your kids should be your first priority. Since you know it is a problem, you should avoid fantasy football all together. Its a total waste of time and money anyways.

Although I completely agree with your sentiments in your comment, I passionately despise the abhorrent phrase, "man up".
Not all men are strong, thick-skinned alpha males. Telling someone who hates themself to "man up" is such a fucking damaging thing to say, and it can in fact push some people with mental issues past the point of no return.
Please, if you never do anything else in your lifetime, don't EVER repeat those 2 words consecutively again!

Exactly this. It's basically telling somebody who thinks that they're not good enough that they're not good enough.
Not to mention most "alpha males" are neither strong nor thick-skinned - usually quite the opposite. In fact, the whole "alpha male" thing has been thoroughly debunked and those two words should probably never be used consecutively either.

Reminds me of the people in my town that sold their food stamps for things they don't need like game systems, modifications to make their car sound really loud, jewelry, new cars, and animals they don't properly take care of while their small kids ran around the streets unsupervised, half naked and underweight looking. I'm kind of glad I don't live in that area of my town anymore. Those people were crazy.

I remember when they were in paper form too back in the early 90s. My parents stopped taking food stamps for a few years (because apparently they didn't qualify anymore. I was a hungry angry child during those times). When they got it again in 06, it was in card form. I wonder when it changed from paper to plastic. I remember going to stores and people just walking up to me and offering to sell theirs for cash. Then again it's the dang ghetto. What did I expect? People here abuse the system and then blame others for everything wrong in their life. They definitely make me wanna rip my hair out.

I’m on food stamps. I don’t want to sell them but I’m just curious like how you could sell them. Like if someone is willing to give you money for food stamps that only allows you to buy food, what’s the point? Isn’t that like just trading currency? Or do they like trade drugs or some shit

Say like the person selling it has 200 bucks on their card. They sell it to someone for 100. The person buying it saves on groceries and the person selling it gets 100 bucks to spend on something other than food. It's a win win. A bad win win though. My parents couldn't get food stamps for a few years when I was a kid and life sucked, so when I see people squander such a necessity I get pissed.
