I get freaked out when my toes peek out from under the shower curtain

is it normal that something about letting my toes peek out from under the shower curtain freaks me out? i get really paranoid and its like if some dangerous person or thing is inside the bathroom, my toes showing from underneath the shower curtain is the only thing that will give away the fact that i'm in the shower.... not, you know, the fact that the shower is running in the first place.

    It'd be worse if you were in the shower and someone else's toes were peeking under.

    Do you also have to sleep with a blanket on so you feel protected? I used to be like that

      Hmmm, I wonder if that's why I need to sleep with a blanket(even on the hottest day). The heavier the blanket, the more content it makes me... Interesting.

    I dont even let the fucking shower curtain touch me when I shower. Its just gross and I dont know why.

    i'd just be worried about the water dripping out of the shower cos... well we have a tub-shower so it's hard for feet to peek out from under unless they're sticking out over the edge of the tub

    I believe this is very normal. I can relate this to people who are afraid to sleep with their feet uncovered and such. It's just a feeling of vulnerability.

    not quite, i mean i prefer to sleep with at least a sheet, but i'm fine without. but i feel like this is comparable to not letting your arm hang over the side of the bed
