My Grandparents have that bad habit after they eat, they grab a toothpick and start digging on their teeth... is SOOOOOO disgusting!!! Specially when other people are still eating there!!

using a toothpick in itself is fine but around other people?? especially while said other people are still eating??? what the fuck. that's disgusting. i agree with you 100%
My dad does the same thing after we eat. I think it's his compulsion to use them. I think they're making his gums recede .
I've seen people use paperclips, sheets of folded paper to floss with.
Consider yourself lucky that they're using toothpicks. Although it is gross when a small, stubborn chunk of meat comes flying in your direction.
