I've always said I'd teach second grade, which where I live is ages 6-8. Seven year olds are just smart enough to understand some interesting concepts, but not at that bratty stage yet.

Lets see 15-17 at a private school only. Since private schools are a lot stricter and paid for it will be simple just to kick a trouble making child out. It seems to be a lot harder to do that at Public school.

Dead people are easy to teach when you are a necromancer.

I reckon I'd really like to teach secondary school kids (I'm British), i.e. 11 to 18 years old. I like to think I'd be good at it, and it's something I believe in. I'm not so confident around people any younger than that, and school for younger kids generally doesn't focus on teaching them very much. I feel like there's much more scope to teach someone something meaningful when they're a teenager.

Community College students or just regular college students. Alternatively, I'd like to take my hand at teaching first graders. I have this belief that at around that age, their minds are like sponge and they just want to absorb information. Plus all it takes is one good teacher. Perhaps fifth grade wouldn't be so bad either.

I'm a firm believer in the old ways of disciplining kids, so I wouldn't make it in this pussy world as a teacher. The job of teacher has turned into a state sponsored babysitter anyway, for the most part, and the last thing I would want to do in life is babysit children whose parents are too self absorbed to do the job themselves.
    School teacher; no fucking way.

i would think it be better to sorta try to work my up the ladder so to speak. start with the younger ones and go up from there, to see which im really good at, and comfortable with. I imagine i like to work with college level, but you never know

I hate kids. Never want to teach, but if I had to teach pre-college kids, I'd probably teach 3rd through 5th grade. Older kids (middle schoolers/high schoolers) are "too cool for school" and think they know everything. They also having raging hormones and, in their own minds, they are older than me.

Younger kids pee and poop their pants all the time and cry about everything. They are technically still babies and I can't deal with babies.

Kids 8-11 are kids but at least they are old enough to pretty much know how to take care of themselves. They are at an age where, yeah, they still need a babysitter, but you don't have to change their diapers, wipe their snotty noses and, for the most part, they mind their own business. You don't have to give them constant attention like the smaller kids. They are old enough to have a full conversation with you (although it will likely be about SpongeBob)but they are too young to concern about girlfriends/boyfriends, breast size, sex, drugs while letting their hormonal issues drive everyone else into insanity.

As far as college goes...er...4th year college? I dunno. I never want to be a teacher at all.

1st year college students, it's all New, unlike school you are actually treated like individuals and also unlike a lot of people at school they all want to be there
