Well, that's prety messed up situation you're in. Bring him to the nearest vet, and fast. Give him to someone you trust, and never take care of a dog again. Maybe you know what you did was "wrong" ((I'm in no position to judge what you do)), but maybe you don't. Maybe, go to a phsychiatrist ((Not reccommended, the idiots never help at all)).

But most of all, apolagize to tou your dog. Obviously, he wouldn't understand the actual language you're speaking, but if you sincerely, truly mean it, he might even forgive you.

And, of course, hire a dog trainer or train him yourself ((without cutting off his body parts)) NOT TO POOP.

How old is he? If he's a puppy, it'll be easier.

For the record, when giving a time out to train a dog, only five minutes alone in the bathroom are needed. The dog will show remorse and learn after repeated time outs, no physical violence used.

I really think that for the animals sake, you should do your best to find the dog another home. Best Friends rescue will take your dog and give medical care. Please consider this as an option.

Have you considered theripy or anger management classes? It would be advisable. I hope you took your dog to the veterinarian, at least for pain. Imagine how you would feel if your ear were cut off. I have found time outs in the bathroom with no lights are highly effective when training a dog. It took my chihuahua one month to learn to curb her aggression, and she hasn't attacked my other dogs since. You might consider something similar for your self when you feel your body start to race and rage. But please, find the dog a new and loving home.
