I had a night terror

Last night, I had the worst dream of all my life. It was bloody and there was death. I've never witnessed a murder or been involved with a bloody violent scene in real life, yet this dream felt like I genuinely was a part of this. I was experiencing it in real time, so much so that I truly succumbed and gave in to my impending death. Has this happened to you and will it happen again? I've had nightmares many times, but this was different

      No, but I knew it was going to happen. It was a sure thing, never felt so real. I was in my apartment in my dream, exactly where I would have been in real life which is why it was so freaky. This guy with a bloody face was about to kill me and then I woke up panicked

          Okay but when it happens, because you now know it will because you had a nightmare about it. Just catch him off gaurd, like lay awake and when he comes in be like, “I’ve been expecting you now go and get this over with.”

            Lol well I had a paralyzed feeling. It was like words didn't exist. It's not like the movies

              Oh! Then what you experienced was sleep paralyzation. What happens is when your body begins to enter REM (deep dream stage) it releases a hormone to basically paralyze you so you don’t sleep walk or fall and hurt yourself. Unfortunately, you either woke up or were aware that you were dreaming and because of being in such a vulnerable state, you experienced what many others do when this happens— a grotesque hallucination.

              So itms not going to happen, it was your subconscious dreaming up the worst thing that could happen in your paralyzed state.
