I hate chatty people. i want to kill them.

The motormouth that blabs at a high volume!!!!??? I have to refrain from killing them. I feel tinges of serious aggression simmering deep within me. I want to knock them out to MUTE them, hopefully permanently. Whatever is wrong with these socially inept losers, I don't know. They make me envy the deaf.

What you hate in others is often a reflection of what you hate in yourself.

    • Alright, I shall sit on a rock in the sun and reflect. Ommmm. Ommmm. Ommmmm. Ok, yeah, I would hate to be disrespectful of others quiet space.

No no, motor mouths are disruptive if they talk incessantly, like *AT* people, or at no people at all. They're not common, thankfully. However, I get to deal with one, every day at work. This guy is a social retard. Throws himself into conversations. Like, we would him welcome in, but he gets louder and louder. I don't think he hears a word we say.

I agree that would piss me off too but I think the extent of my aggression would be a solid, "shut the fuck up" not killing him, that's a bit too far.

I hate motormouths as well and I almost never speak unless spoken to. Some of us just don't like talkative people and our only motivation is that we don't like talkative people.

I do think that the OP wanting to murder them is bordering on psychotic, though. That isn't normal.

Certainly not always. But you could have repressed your talkative side? Just a thought...

I doubt I have a talkative side. I'm talking more in this reply than I've spoken in person all day. I just find motormouths grating and gossip to be boring.

Same here. Sometimes I wish I could talk as effortlessly as others, but about more interesting things lol.

I used to talk a lot as a child and just kind of stopped one day... probably because my mom got so aggravated when she couldn't answer all of my questions and told me to shut up so many times.

How I feel about loud mouthed people depends on what they're talking about of course.

To be honest, I'm pretty chatty but only with friends and people I know. But I agree I hate people who are loud and rude. There's this girl on my bus and she keeps saying
"Oh My Gwad" in every single freaking sentence. Like
    "Oh my gwad cecelia!"
"Oh my gwad there a dog!"
"Oh my gwad I don't have money today!"
"Oh my gwad guys, guess what happened yesterday?"

It is so annoying and I want to slap her. She is so loud, everybody is quietly chatting and she is screeching in her super high pitched squeak of a voice.

Hey OP I just read that in Germany small talk and idle chatter is frowned upon in most situations except for in private life. They don't talk much at work or in lines or to random people...you might fit in there just saying.

    • A year ago, over the summer, I did an internship at Seimens Healthcare Global. Its in the USA, but I did have to read up on the office culture of Germany. You have found my ideal world! Yes, true.

That's a bit too far...maybe slap them or something. Killing people because they talk too much, are you the next Adolf Hitler or something?

i know what you mean. Sometimes I just feel like sitting in the company of others quietly. But people always feel the need to make conversation in order to be comfortable.

You may need to see someone about this rather than people over the internet...

I hate quiet people more, they're creepy and you never know who they're plotting to murder next. At least with a motor mouth you know what they are thinking.

    • lol! I'm picturing both characters.

I'm guessing you clearly live somewhere that is normal. If you have ever been around someone that truly never shuts up? You want to poison their drinks with anything that will work. Benadryl?

I will take my chance with the quiet person.

It's not your fault that you have a small penis. This passive aggressive behaviour, too, shall pass.

Please do us a favor and knock out the next big, loud mouthed guy you see. Or at least try. That should give US several months of respite (or permanent) from your inane posts while you recover in the hospital.
