There are southern accents that sound wonderfully beautiful to the ears. Like, there's Nashville, yes. But, if I have to listen to an IDIOT redneck, I start feeling kind of genocidal about these deep in the backwoods Southern screw-ups, thinking, where did that inbred moron, and his entire family come from? Maybe I don't hate all of them, some are funny. But, I've came across rednecks that just anger me at their disruptive stupidity. Loud, irritating, and they leave a mess of trash wherever they go. I'm living in a place full of them, lol. Its kind of funny, but it is kind of irritating too. My sister is married to someone who has a bunch of them in their family. I might disown her, lol.

    I dislike all southern accents. There's something about them that's extremely unappealing to me. It sends chills up my spine.

    i live in the south so i am surrounded my rednecks. I dont have an accent myself and i dont leave anything messy i try to pick up my messes but I do know people like that and its annoying. So yes i would say that it is normal.
