I hate it when people say "over [age]" instead of "[age] and over"
I hate it when people say stuff like "You have to be over 25 to join this club" when clearly 25 year olds are allowed to join. Same thing when people say "over 18 to sign this contract", "over 14 to watch", "over 60 to be eligible for these benefits", etc. Clearly you include 25/18/14/60 year olds, and when you say "over #" it is supposed to mean above but not including that number. Did they pass math class or something?
Is it normal to be a bit irked by this?
