I know PC's are slow and full of viruses, but I just hate Mac's. I hate iPods. I hate iTunes. I actually like the look and feel of the iPhone, but i hate that it runs on iTunes and is made by apple. and now everything new that is a gadget begins with the letter 'i', like iComputer, iFood, and that sticks too, because it is now used primarily by Apple. is this normal?
I just hate how overly-advertised and mainstream they've become, plus I find their products extremely expensive. Most of the people I know who own Apple/Mac tech are very gung-ho on looking impressive or important. It's a nuisance, to say the least.
Don't worry you aren't alone. I try to keep it bottled though, cause everyone seems to either hate it or be blinded by love for it. x.x
Oh man oh man, I 100% agree with you. As a network manager for a global company I despise with intense vigor all that is apple. The iphone NEVER WILL BE A CORPORATE TOOL. The iphone is for yuppies, tewls, and men who are way too in touch with their feminine side. The iPad is even more horrific It worse than carrying a satchel. Citrix or not it's a fanboi piece of fad dung sh*t garbage. Thank god I fight on a regular basis to get the anger that iAnything causes me. I LOATHE APPLE.
macs are terrible, the only reason they don't get viruses is because there isn't a hacker in the world who would waste his time on 20% of the population, when he has the ability to screw up the other 80

Personally, I love apple mac products. I am a designer so mac products are primarily what is used in the industry. A lot of people however, would agree with you though. It's like pepsi and coke. Or Holden and Ford. Anyway, I must admit, I hate how mainstream they have become... too commercial for my liking.

Apple is overpriced crap bought by iSheep who don't know the value of a dollar. Apple used to an innovative company years ago but now they are just a brand.
my only gripes about mac are the price, the lack of a right mouse button, and the compatibility problem of flash and some programs written for microsoft. nothing else i could really say about them unless i started using one.
still, if i can get one for cheap or even borrow one, i would to see how it stacks up.
they seem good enough, and the design is cool though.
It really doesn't matter which you choose as both Mac and PC both use pretty much the same internal hardware. Sure, a $1500 PC would probably blow the doors off of a $500 Mac (If you could even find one that cheap...) or vice versa. But as a rule, you would get more bang for your buck with a PC, because with Mac you pay a lot for the name. It really comes down to personal preference and/or compatibility with whatever you're going to use it for. I might consider buying a Mac laptop, because I think Microsoft needs the competition. But I would NEVER buy an ipod, for Apple has a disturbingly large market share in the mp3 segment.
I love the solid feel of apple's unibody aluminiun construction. Its sturdy and very high quality, but things i hate are the price, the fact that some dont have sd card slots, the software, and the low price to performance ratio. Macbook-1000$ 2 gigs ram, 250 gb hard drive, my dell inspiron 1545-600$ 4 gigs ram, 320 gb hard drive.
Yeah macs definitely have that douche bag look and feel to appeal to the modern liberal-that-says-this-but-does-that feel about them, but at least you wont get viruses.
