wow wtf is so bad about meowing... it probably wants it's mother. if you are really that irratible i think you should give it to someone who will actually care for it and next time try an easier pet like a fish or rock or something

It's totally normal for kittens to meow a lot. Maybe she wants you to pet or hold her. My dog barks at every sound she hears, but I still love her...it's not her that's annoying, just some of the things she does.

You said "we" adopted a kitten. You should probably let whoever else is involved take over responsibilities for the cat so that your frustration doesn't lead to something more serious. If you're already having such strong negative emotions over a kitten meowing frequently, then you're definitely not ready to care for an animal.

Yes, it is normal to hate constant meowing. Sometimes my cat meows constantly and it pisses me off. I hate how most people have the mindset that pets can do no wrong and that everything they do that annoys you is somehow your fault. Yes, it is just being and animal and you are just being a human.

Don't worry, I have a dog and when we first got him I used to wish we'd never had him. It was just such a big change. But one year later and he's my best friend and the house would be so shit without him.

It's a kitten and since most cats at all ages are nocturnal, they are the most active at night.

Perhaps you should purchase a scratching post or something fun for the cat to play with while everyone is asleep. Just some ideas.

Like the neighbors' dog... Ugh. But I also love animals. Dont send them back to the shelter. I've heard that if an animal is there for 3 days without being sold, they would kill it! So, rather give it to a friend or relative and pass on the constant meowing.
