Here's why I hate it for three reasons:
1) It gets boring way too easily in my eyes
2) The constant quote-on-quote rickrolling which makes me hate it even more
3) Despite it being annoying/catchy I still hate hate hate hate hate it!

    Ok but he did an acoustic cover of Everlong. I clicked on it for jokes but he killed it. Ricks got my respect now. Think about it. The vocal style he used in never gonna give was the precursor to 90’s grunge vocals. Meditate on that.

    I would say I'm pretty neutral about it. I don't think it's an amazing song, but I neither like it nor dislike it. It's just okay, I guess. I wouldn't want to hear it over and over, though. To be honest, a lot of British pop (and pop in general) from that era all sounds mostly the same, and pretty generic IMO.

      I think stuff like that says a lot about your character if you like it even if it's cheesy, maybe especially because it's cheesy
