Whyyyy? Sometimes I have actual dollars that I need to deposit and I don't want to wait until Friday. Annoying! Why do banks keep hours that don't match the real world? IIN?
Banker's hours they're called. It used to be worse, 2PM closing and no Fridays or Saturdays.
I don't/won't use banks any more; I hate them. Nickle and diming one to death with this charge and that.
I've been using an investment company instead; one annual fee and all kinds of services included. No hidden charges, no little tricky fees.
I often wonder why it was going postal instead of going bankers? Right up there with lawyers; kill em all.
That's why I use online banking and chose a bank that's open weekends.
But I work til 7 or 8pm so even a 6pm close does me no good.
Wtf are you doing going to the bank? Banks are set up now so you shouldn't have to set foot in one after you open your account. There's online banking, direct deposit, ATM deposits. I haven't been to the actual bank in AGES.
All the banks I have every dealt with have a "night deposit" slot.
Pretty simple.
I do use online banking. I have it on my phone. But, no I haven't done ATM deposits. I should inquire about that! Yay!
