I hate the noise of my cat cleaning his nails.

You know that clicking noise when your cat is cleaning his claws and looks like he's trying to pull them out with his teeth? I hate that. I know he needs to do it to sharpen and maintain his claws but the clicking makes me cringe. I was wondering if anyone else finds the sound as maddening as I do.

    I wish I had a cat again. I loved it when she would clean her paw nails. So cute.

    When I first got my car, she'd do this. It made me cringe because I thought that she would end up ripping the claw out of her foot. I am now used to it and the noise. It doesn't bother me anymore. Why don't you find something that can distract you whilst your cat does this?

      I usually leave the room or just ignore it. it doesnt bother me to the point where I cant be in the room but it bugs me if im trying to concentrate. Kindof like when someone is crunching on ice and it makes your teeth hurt
